I am a retired nurse and midwife and have held a passionate interest in Holistic Healing for almost 30 years. I have introduced complementary therapies to 3 of the hospitals in which I have worked and I have been teaching complementary therapies at Burton Manor College, Chester for over 15 years.
- a member of the British Reflexology Association;
- a registered Dr. Bach Practitioner and National Tutor;
- a Reiki Master;
- an Advanced Aura Soma Practitioner.
I have a Diploma in Aromatherapy and I am a Champissage Indian Head Massage Practitioner.
In addition to my own professional registrations, I am registered with both the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council and The Federation of Holistic Therapists
I became a practitioner at Healing Thyme in Whitchurch because I instinctively felt that Healing Thyme would become a centre of excellence for complementary medicine. I enjoy the practitioner team spirit and the fact that I can cross refer to other therapists for even better results.
My Main Treatment Focus
I mainly focus on giving Reflexology treatments, often in combination with Dr. Bach Flower Remedies for emotional healing, and colour beamer therapy with Reiki for an all in one treatment for complete rebalancing of the body’s energy.
Although I have worked in the NHS for much of my life, I am passionate about complementary medicine. I firmly believe that there is a place for both traditional and complementary medicine and that they are truly complementary.
I live in the country with my husband and our two cats and two dogs. I enjoy playing with my grandchildren, walking our dogs, reading, gardening, cooking, having lunch with friends and going on holidays and dancing with my husband.
Also my husband and I enjoy providing home boarding for dogs while their owners are on holiday.
Working Hours at Healing Thyme
My normal working days are Tuesday and Wednesday.
